Today I will go shopping for clothes. I'm going on a 2 week vacation and need things to wear. I hope clothes actually fit.

I got a new camera today because the other one I had wouldn't turn on. I've wanted a new/better camera for a long time. I got a Nikon L100 and will be testing it out, so maybe I'll post the photos I take in the future. I have to get used to the functions, but the camera is SO pretty.

I did a whole lot of shopping today.

I got a jacket to wear when it gets warmer (like April/May). It goes to my knee and it has a buckle, but it also has buttons. It's also black, but I don't mind it being black. I just wanted something professional that I could wear to work.

Years ago (back in 2004) I got a cameo and I never had a chain for it. Now I have a chain and I can wear it.

And I got a whole bunch of summer shirts.

I'm going to wait to buy jeans. I only have like 3 pairs, but since I wear nicer pants for work I can get away with only having 3 jeans for the weekend.

I got 2 bags today as a graduation present/for work. They're both big enough to fit a book, which will be good for when I'm on a lunch break and have lots of time to spare before going back to work. And I like how they're not plain black or unprofessional-looking like every other bag I have.

I graduate on May 17th and I went shopping for graduation clothes today. I got a lot of nice things and I don't know what to wear at the ceremony. I know my clothes will be covered by the cap and gown, but I want to wear something nice underneath, yet not too fancy.

The weater has been ugly lately - cold and cloudy. I don't know if it'll be like that on my graduation day. So whatever I wear has to keep my warm, too.

Today is the first day of Lent. I gave up junk food. Not that I eat a lot of junk food, anyway. My main vice is chocolate and I'm already missing it. I gave up chocolate the last two years and figured I'd step up and go for all kinds of junk food this year. I think if I was able to go 40...or well 80 days without chocolate before I can do it again even though it's going to be damn torture.

And I got my Across the Universe dvd yesterday. I love it! I saw some special features and the cast is adorable together. I'm going to watch the movie with my mom on Saturday. I hope she likes it.

Ugh. I received an email saying those really nice shoes I talked about here are out of stock. I looked on the site for other shoes, but #1 nothing fits me because my feet are too frakkin small & #2 they have ugly styles or colors.

Those shoes were pefect. They were black so they can go with any outfit. They were my size AND they had a strap so my feet wouldn't slip out.

Now I have to settle for uncomfortable work shoes? No No.

The store gave me a 20% discount off my next purchase, but that expires 1/31/08. WTF? Why so soon? It's not like I'm going to find something in 3 days to take advantage of that discount.

I need help deciding whether or not to buy these shoes for work:



The dress code for work is business casual and I usually wear shoes with a heel that aren't so comfortable. Also, I'm tired of carrying my sneakers around in a plastic bag. I simply want to wear one pair of shoes and not have to change them during the day.

I want to find shoes that are #1 comfortable and #2 nice. But then I'm thinking that my supervisor wears black sneakers and maybe I can get away with wearing sneakers.

So should I buy the above shoes or go to my local mall and find sneakers?
Just as a side note: It's a pain in the ass to find shoes that fit my feet. The above shoes are the only ones I found on naturalizer.com that I like and that fit my feet. I always order from them and I just make it to a size 4
So should I risk possibly not having these available in a few weeks and look for something else or should I purchase them?
