A very long time ago I wrote about wanting to change my username. I just dislike how my current name has "girl" in it. I could never think of a name, but after reading Tess of the D'Ubervilles, and liking it, I was thinking the name blighted_star could be interesting - it's mentioned in the book in a scene I really enjoyed. It's not fandomy, I think, but does it sound too depressing or girly? I still don't have $$ to change the name, but it's an option. So opinions, please.

I paid for an LJ account. Screw not having money - I wanted one. I like not having to deal with ads and the extra userpics are so nice.

What is with the new profile page on LJ? It's ugly.

Is there a way to block certain people who post on communities I friended? There's just certain people who post in communities that I friended and I really don't care to see their shitty posts.

I was hoping I could do like what imdb allows by putting them on an ignore list.

Okay, so last night I was fixing up my Tess moodtheme because I didn't like some of the coloring. And then today I found a BSG animated moodtheme made by schmiss It was too awesome not to use.

I'll switch back to my Tess moodtheme one day because that character is too awesome not to use, but right now I'm just in love with the animated moodtheme. It makes me want an animated Tess moodtheme, but I'll never have the patience or the ability to make one.
